Release 0.95 went out on 22 October and 0.96 the day after. The headline is promotions that do much more than take a percentage off.
Promotions with limits
A promotion can now cap its total uses ("first 100 customers") and how often one customer can use it ("once per customer"). A use is given back if the order is cancelled or fully refunded, so a cancelled order doesn't use up your offer. You can also switch off combining, so an offer can't be stacked with others.
You can leave out collections, products or product types from any promotion. Donations and gift cards are left out of every promotion by default, so a discount never comes off money you're passing on.
Offers for particular people
A promotion can be given to named customers only: a staff discount, or a gesture after something went wrong. Search for the customer, assign it, and it applies to their orders automatically. Anyone else who tries the code is told it isn't available on their account. A promotion can also be kept for subscribers with a paid-up subscription, which makes a members' discount.
Generate makes a code nobody could guess, for codes only some people should have. Each promotion lists its latest uses, with the order and the discount given, and a customer's page shows the promotions assigned to them. Your AI assistant can set all of this too. See AI.
Photos that fade
The hero banner can now fade between several background photos while its headline and buttons stay put. Each photo can have a short caption. See storefronts.
Safer sign-in and admin
Repeated wrong passwords now slow down, and forgot-password requests are limited. Wrong promo codes are limited too, and if your shop uses reCAPTCHA, a shopper who hits the limit is asked to prove they're not a robot instead of waiting. A shop must now prove it owns a custom domain before adding it, and staff roles are held more tightly to their own shop and their own job.

This release is about our own website: a For developers page on the API and the MCP server, a Docs menu that goes straight to the documentation, and two more demo shops on the demos page: Halden, a trade supplier with stores and click and collect, and The Magpie's Nest, an antique jewellery shop.
