One shop, online and in person
Most card readers come with their own catalogue, their own reports and their own fees. Badger POS sells from the catalogue you already have, and every sale is an ordinary order in your admin.
Quick pay
Key in an amount and take a contactless payment: for a raffle ticket, a cup of tea or a one-off item.
Build a basket
Search or scan products from your catalogue, build a basket and take payment, with stock updated as you go.
Donations with Gift Aid
Take a donation and record the donor's Gift Aid declaration on the spot, ready for the next monthly HMRC claim.
Sign people up
Start a monthly subscription or regular gift in person, billed through the same system as online.
Receipts and lookup
Send a receipt by email or QR code. Find any sale later by card brand and last four digits, even without a receipt.
Staff roles and limits
Each person signs in with their own account. Set per-person limits, and keep refunds for supervisors.
Where it fits
Anywhere you sell face to face and want it to show up in the same place as your online sales.
Charity open days, fêtes and collection points
Craft fairs, markets and pop-ups
Cafés, counters and visitor centres
Trade counters selling by barcode
Events and shows selling tickets and merchandise
Where it is today
The platform's point-of-sale API is live. The Badger POS app runs on iPhone with Tap to Pay on registered test devices, and we're preparing it for Apple's App Store review. We're looking for a small number of pilot organisations to use it at real events.
Same platform fee as online orders, paid into your own Stripe account
Stripe Terminal card readers supported as well as Tap to Pay
Not yet: offline selling and printed receipts
