Release 0.89 went out on 16 October. The headline is a basket that no longer makes shoppers pick between collecting and delivery.
Collect some, deliver the rest
A shopper can now collect the items a store has in stock and have everything else sent, all on one order with one payment. Each item in the basket has a simple Delivery or Collect switch with a line saying when it arrives or why collecting isn't possible, and a note appears when other stores hold items this one doesn't. Collection slots work on these orders too.
Afterwards each part is handled on its own. Staff see the collection and the delivery separately, either can be cancelled or returned without touching the other, and emails, labels and the order page show both. Part of Enterprise, and optional for a shop. See stores and fulfilment and click and collect.
VAT worked out for you
For shops whose prices include VAT, checkout now works out how much of the price is VAT, using the UK and EU rates. Set a rate on each product and on delivery, and the VAT shows to shoppers, in the order total and in the admin. At the end of the quarter you get a VAT report for the return.
Sell in your own currency
Choose the currency your shop sells in and prices appear the way your shoppers expect to read them, with a choice of symbol style. To sell in two currencies you run one site for each. See payments.
Share kit for pages and posts
Every page and blog post has a Share tab with the text, first comment and tracked link ready to copy for each network, and you choose which networks the share buttons offer. See storefronts.
